Gorge Walking Scotland
Gorge Walking Fort William, Fort Augustus & Inverness
Scrambling, jumping, sliding & swimming your way through an otherwise inaccessible gorge on some spectacular Scottish mountain side this activity is guaranteed to get you excited.
Prior to your trip you will be kitted out from head to toe in a neoprene wetsuit, to ensure you stay warm, a helmet and a life jacket. We will then travel to the venue where you will receive a safety brief and full instruction from our experienced guides.
All you need to bring is a pair of trainers you don’t mind getting wet, swimwear for underneath your wetsuit a towel for afterwards and a sense of humour!
Where Can I Go Gorge Walking in Scotland ?
Our gorge walking trips are run at a venue approximately 30 miles from Fort William. We will meet at our centre in the Great Glen Water Park to get suited up if you are based in or around Fort William or meet on location if you are coming from the Aviemore area.
Who Can Go Gorge Walking?
This is a fun activity for all ages and groups. We have a minimum age limit of 8 years +.
How Much Does It Cost?
A gorge walking trip with Highland Activities costs £45 pp and includes:
- Full instruction from a professional guide
- All equipment including wetsuit, buoyancy aid & helmet
