Great Glen Canoe Trips
Active Highs are based on the shores of Loch Oich which is part of the Great Glen Canoe Trail and the Caledonian Canal system. Loch Oich is the smallest and therefore the most sheltered loch in the Great Glen making it an ideal location for beginner and intermediate open canoe trips. Loch Oich is also a very scenic place with vies of the forests, islands, mountains and old Invergarry Castle. If you are looking for a full day trip we can offer this option on Loch Oich or can combine the Loch with a trip down the River Oich where we paddle 5 miles down flowing water into the head of Loch Ness.
