White Water Rafting in Scotland
About White Water Rafting in Scotland
White water rafting in Scotland is world class given the right water levels. Scotland boasts a fantastic selection of white water rivers that are great for rafting. Active Highs run white water rafting in Scotland near Fort William, Oban & Inverness and have access to some of the best rivers in the country. Most of our white water rafting trips are run on dam release rivers such as the River Garry which is 25 miles from Fort William & 45 miles from Inverness. We also run white water rafting trips on other rain fed rivers in the Fort William area such as the River Roy and River Spean.
We are also able to run white water rafting trips on the River Awe which is 15 miles outside of Oban. The river Awe has scheduled dam releases on a monthly basis and is also a great river for Funyakking. This means that we can guarantee you a great trip with up to grade 3 and 4 rapids even in the driest times of year when others can be very low or dry.
